"Ohhhh that's why then..." (this is what you should be thinking when you read this post, if not then you don't use Deezer enough : ) )

Why are certain tracks not accessible on-demand?

As you may have noticed, some tracks from bands like AC/DC, Led Zeppelin or Die Toten Hosen are not accessible on-demand anymore. Please know that we are not responsible for this, some labels with whom we have agreements, do not have the necessary authorization to broadcast their songs on Deezer (what happens to Deezer also happens to other websites offering music-on-demand).

We’re sorry for this situation but we’re doing our best to obtain the right to broadcast those artists again, so that you can listen to them for free and legally!

Why aren’t the tracks following up each other?

There are a lot of people asking us why, when you’re trying to listen to all the songs from the same artist, the tracks are not following up each other;
In order to make you discover new artists and to browse new musical universes, we’re offering you (by subscribing easily and for free) to create your playlists and to listen to all your favourite songs and to also get back this functionality of having the songs following up each other.

Well now that you know... well you know.

Stay Tuned!!

Paul (yeah no P&P from now on, the poor fella's back to school)

Not another Deezer Blog?!

Hey there, welcome to the new English blog from Deezer!

When we launched Deezer, a little more than a year ago, we wanted to deeply  change the way everyone listened to music: no more extra costs, no more need to be a millionaire to enjoy all the latest tracks, no more limits to your musical culture… a year later, the Deezer team brought huge changes to the music industry!

Thanks to agreements with different rights-owners and with various majors – like Universal, the Orchard, etc… – Deezer has obtained a catalogue of more than 3 million songs.

With this brand new blog, we will now keep you informed with our latest updates! We will also give you numerous tips about the website functions and… some top secret information coming straight from the Deezer backstage! Eventually, the main new thing with this blog is that you can share all your feelings about our service and let us know about it as we will be very happy to hear from you!

The English team is made of two guys: Paul and… Paul! We're really excited about managing this blog and getting to know our users. Feel free to tell us anything you want (no, the fact that you lost your goldfish yesterday is not relevant ;-) ), related to Deezer of course, but also to the music world,  which we are tackling every day!

Talk to you very soon!
