Alphabeat is a Danish pop band from Silkeborg signed to CopenhagenRecords in Denmark and Their Danish debut single "Fascination" was amajor hit in Denmark during the summer of 2007. A second single "10.000Nights of Thunder" saw equal success, just like their eponymous debutalbum that went platinum in Denmark. Their sound is mainly retro 80s melodic pop, taking inspiration amongstothers from Deacon Blue and Prefab Sprout, with distinctive overlay ofmale and female harmonies.
