Curved Air's most famous Alumni was Eddie Jobson who joined Curved Air in 1973 at the age of 17 and was assigned the job of violin (for departing Darryl Way) and keyboards (for the departing Francis Monkman) Une Formation majeure du Rock Prog.

Ce groupe génial a emprunté son nom à l'album de Terry Riley "A Rainbow In Curved Air", paru en 1967. Leur second album me botte particulièrement, surtout le titre d'ouverture "Young Mother".
