Leonard Cohen

La première fois que j’ai entendu Leonard Cohen, c’était dans un film, Breaking the waves, le beau mélo de Lars Von Trier. Le morceau s’appelait « Suzanne », sa chanson la plus célèbre : « Suzanne takes you down to her place near the river / You can hear the boats go by / You can spend the night besides her… ». Le réalisateur danois l’avait choisi pour illustrer un « carton », l’ouverture d’un des chapitres du film. Comme si, pour défendre, utiliser, citer Cohen, on ne pouvait jamais s’éloigner ...
