Venu comme Robbie Williams d'un boys band, en l'occurence Blue, Simon Webbe débute en 2005 une carrière solo placée sous le signe d'une pop soul R&B du meilleur effet. Sanctuary en 2005 remporte un large succés et devient no 7 en Angleterre, Grace en 2006 est lui no 11, tandis que Simon Webbe commence à mener en parallèle une carrière d'acteur.
