The Firebirds is a rock and roll band from the United Kingdom founded in 1981 by former vocalist John Plummer. The lineup comprised Jim Plummer, Dan Plummer, and Jason Bryant, and their style emphasized vocal a cappella music. They performed covers of classic hits from the 1950s and 1960s, which included "Rock Around the Clock", "I Don't Know Why I Love You But I Do", "Perfidia", and "Bristo Stomp". Notable performances included an appearance in 1992 at the official opening of Disneyland Paris, where they were the only British band to perform, and a commemorative concert for Eddie Cochran at Coleston Hall in Bristol. The trio toured extensively across Europe and the United States, participating in events such as the Festival de Rockabilly in 2002, the 50th anniversary of Sun Records, and the 25th anniversary of the death of Elvis Presley.
