The Munich based Singer-songwriter Joerg Mair founded „Anthony’s Garden“ (Wolfgang Peyerl - drums, Markus Angeli - upright bass) in 2010. The multi-instrumentalist believes in the wisdom of a pure folk-song reduced to its essentials. Dealing with love and hate, personal and global crisis, the lyrics are the driving force of every song.
In their latest album „The Implacable End of Innocence“ the trio celebrates the resurrection of the protest-folksongs of the late 60s and the early 70s.
