Yonatan Zigelboum, known professionally as Yoni Z, is an American Hasidic pop singer. Born in Brooklyn, New York, on November 4, 1991, Zigelboum began performing at weddings in 2007 before adopting his stage name. He released his self-titled debut studio album, Yoni Z, in 2018. Produced by Yanky Katina, the album blended Western pop and Hebrew and English vocals with Mizrahi music, and earned him the Best New Artist of the Year award from Israel's Kikar HaShabbat in 2018. In 2022, Zigelboum released his second album, Ahava, which featured twelve tracks primarily written and composed by him and arranged by Shloimy Zaltzman. In May 2024, he suffered severe injuries, including bones broken in seven places, following a motorcycle accident in Rome, requiring over a year of recovery. Zigelboum married Ashley Eden in April 2025, and their daughter was born in March 2025.
