Office of Future Plans was an American music project from Baltimore, Maryland, formed in 2009. The project was led by James Robbins (known as J. Robbins), the former bassist of Government Issue and frontman for Jawbox, Burning Airlines, and Channels. The group's lineup also included guitarist and cellist Gordon Withers, bassist Brooks Harlan, and drummer Darren Zentek, who had previously performed with Channels and Kerosene 454. Signed to Dischord Records, the group released its only studio album, Office of Future Plans, on 2011. Prior to the album, they also released their first single "Harden Your Heart" on 2011. In October 2016, Robbins announced that the project had reached its conclusion, and Office of Future Plans became inactive.
