Infusion was an Australian electronica band from Wollongong, formed in 1995 by Jamie Stevens and Manuel Sharrad. They later joined forces with Frank Xavier to create their signature sound. Infusion released its debut single "Smokescreen/Lux" on the Dance Pool label in 1995.
In October 2003, Infusion relocated to Melbourne and signed with Sony BMG. The single "Girls Can Be Cruel" from the album Six Feet Above Yesterday, released in 2004, received significant airplay on Triple J and won the ARIA Award for Best Dance Release at the ARIA Music Awards of 2004. Infusion's subsequent album All Night Sun Light was released independently under Futuresque Records in 2009. The band performed its final show with Leftfield at the Enmore Theatre in 2013 before disbanding but reunited in 2019 for performances at a festival.
