Nutsa Buzaladze, also known mononymously as Nutsa, is a Georgian singer and songwriter born in Tbilisi, Georgia, on January 28, 1997. Grew up in Turkey, she began performing in a children's group at five years of age and took piano lessons from age eight, later performing in Los Angeles and relocating her permanent residence to Dubai. Buzaladze launched her solo career in 2011 on Georgia's Got Talent and gained international attention by winning Latvia's New Wave Music Festival in 2014, which led to appearances on The Voice of Turkey under coach Hadise, Two Stars Georgia, and the Georgian versions of Your Face Sounds Familiar and Dancing with the Stars. In 2017, she placed second in Georgia's national Eurovision selection with the single “White Horses Run”. She followed with her debut extended play, Nutsa22, in 2019, which featured original English-language tracks and covers, and produced the hit single “Gelodebi”. After winning the International Artists category at the Albanian competition Kënga Magjike 2021 and performing at the Dubai Opera, Buzaladze reached the top twelve on the twenty-first season of American Idol in 2023. She represented Georgia at the Eurovision Song Contest 2024 with the single “Firefighter”, becoming her country's first qualifier to the Grand Final since 2016 and ultimately finishing in twenty-first place.
