Tzvi Erez is an Israeli-Canadian classical pianist and music producer born in Israel in 1967. He began studying the piano at six years of age and later relocated to Canada, where he graduated from The Royal Conservatory of Music after studying under Mildred Kenton, Andrew Burashko, and Antonín Kubalek. Erez worked in production and distribution with Sony Music before gaining recognition for his debut solo studio albums, Beethoven Piano Works in 2000 and Tzvi Erez plays Chopin in 2003, released through the label Niv Classical. Throughout his career, he released over forty-four albums worldwide, recording classical compositions by Bach, Beethoven, Debussy, Liszt, Mussorgsky, and Mozart, as well as Erik Satie's Gymnopedies, Gnossiennes, and Cold Pieces. His recorded performances were frequently accompanied by orchestral string players from the Toronto Symphony Orchestra. Erez also produced and licensed classical recordings for television and film, with his performances featured in the 1986 documentary The Twice Promised Land, the series Rectify and The Morning Show, and the feature films When You Finish Saving the World and A Real Pain.
