Bill Nace

Bill Nace is an American experimental guitarist and visual artist from New Jersey. His early releases include the LP Too Dead for Dreaming, released in 2o10. Nace became known for an unorthodox approach to the electric guitar, often using preparations, extended techniques, and unconventional objects to generate sound. He collaborated with artists such as Joe McPhee, Steve Gunn, and Kim Gordon, the latter forming the duo Body/Head, which issued Coming Apart in 2013. Nace also ran Open Mouth Records, and produced visual artwork for album covers and flyers.
