Noah Preminger, born on June 2, 1986, in Canton, Connecticut, is an American jazz saxophonist. He studied with Dave Liebman during high school and graduated from the New England Conservatory of Music. His debut album, Dry Bridge Road (2008), was released after graduation, featuring a sextet including Ben Monder, Frank Kimbrough, Russ Johnson, John Hébert, and Ted Poor. The album was also named Debut of the Year in the Village Voice critics poll. Preminger's second album as a leader, Before the Rain, came out in 2011 on Palmetto Records, showcasing a quartet with Kimbrough, Hébert, and Matt Wilson. Throughout his career, he has collaborated with notable musicians such as Billy Hart, Dave Holland, Fred Hersch, and Eddie Henderson. Subsequent albums include Haymaker (2013), Genuinity (2018), After Life (2019), and The Dank (2023).
