Dazkarieh, a Portuguese traditional music band from Lisbon, was formed in 1999. The group blended alternative rock with traditional Portuguese music and world influences, utilizing various instruments including the Swedish Nyckelharpa. Their album Dazkarieh was released in 2002. The band gained traction through live performances and festival appearances, including the Festival d'été de Québec in 2006 and the Rudolstadt Festival in 2008. Notable albums include Incógnita Alquimia (2006), Hemisférios (2009), Ruído do Silêncio (2011), and Eterno Retorno (2012). Their album, Finisterra, was released in 2014 through crowdfunding. After a farewell tour, the band disbanded that same year.
