Dead Voices on Air is a British and Canadian experimental and industrial music project formed in 1992 by Mark Spybey following his departure from the group Zoviet France. The project's first release was the cassette Abrader (1993), followed by the debut studio album Hafted Maul (1995), which was issued through Invisible Records. Spybey subsequently released several albums under the project name, including New Words Machine (1995), How Hollow Heart... (1997), and Piss Frond (1999). Under the project, Spybey collaborated with Not Breathing and cEvin Key of Skinny Puppy in the band Download. The project's compilation album, Bundle 1995–2013, was released in 2013 through Metropolis Records, and the album Lewis Spybey was released in 2024 through Emergency Hearts Records.
