We write songs designed to spread happiness and tranquility.
The story of The Heartbeams is a tale of us, Audrey & Yiannis, two unlikely lovers coming together to overcome tragedy and find deep peace through the power of music. By diving deep into the hidden depths of our own souls, we create delicate meditations that explore the very meaning of existence. Our music has a certain power, which you might even call magic,
that slows the world down and creates a sense of tranquility. A sense of well being. A sense that everything is going to be okay. Our heartbeams are a welcome ray of light in a world where everybody needs to know that they have the potential to be their own miracle.
Our duo is made up of French born Audrey and Greek born Yiannis. We met as students in Sweden, fell in love, and decided to start a life together. It was like a storybook. We found an idyllic Norwegian town and decided to settle down. What we didn’t know at the time, however, was that our lives were about to be irreversibly altered. Yiannis was involved in a freak accident, and found himself paralyzed.
Though it was traumatic at the time, this low period would prove to be a blessing in disguise. With little hope in sight,
we made a conscious decision that we would overcome this no matter what. What followed was a miraculous recovery, aided by copious meditation and an endless surprise of hope. When Yiannis regained his movement, we both agreed that we would never take our wellness for granted. Furthermore, we decided to share the gifts we discovered, in the form of our uplifting and poetic songs.
We officially introduced The Heartbeams in the fall of 2020 with our debut single ‘The Ride Is Yours.’
A sublime acoustic ballad accompanied by a charmingly cinematic video. We followed that up
with the piano laden ‘Forgiveness’ before making a creative breakthrough
with the expansive sounds of ‘Mother of Love.’
