Tomas Kalnoky is a Czechoslovak-born American musician born on December 24, 1980, in Prague, Czechoslovakia, and raised in East Brunswick, New Jersey. Kalnoky is known for his roles as singer, guitarist, and songwriter. He began his music career with the punk band Gimp, releasing the cassette Smiles for Macavity (1996), before moving on to Catch 22, where he released the EP Rules of the Game (1997) and the debut album Keasbey Nights (1998). After leaving Catch 22, Kalnoky formed Bandits of the Acoustic Revolution and later Streetlight Manifesto. As Toh Kay, his solo project, he released You By Me: Vol. 1 (2010) with Dan Potthast of MU330, followed by Streetlight Lullabies (2011), The Hand That Thieves (2013), and You By Me: Vol. 2 (2014). With Streetlight Manifesto, Kalnoky released the albums Everything Goes Numb (2003), Keasbey Nights (2006), Somewhere in the Between (2007), 99 Songs of Revolution: Vol. 1 (2010), and The Hands That Thieve (2013).
