Omar and the Eastern Power (오마르와 동방전력) is a South Korean-based rock and world music band formed in Jeju in 2016. The band consists of Moroccan-born vocalist and guitarist Omar Benassila, Egyptian drummer and percussionist Zaky Wael, and Korean musicians Park Cheomji (guitar), Jung Jung-yeop (bass), and Kang Taek-hyun(drums). Their music combines blues rock, psychedelic rock, North African music, and Korean musical influences. The band released their debut full-length album Walking Miles in 2018, followed by the singles "Sunshine" (2021) and "Wahaemaenae (All I Care About)" (2024), and the EP Lil Elbouhala (2026). They have also performed at major Korean festivals including DMZ Peace Train Music Festival and Pentaport Rock Festival.
