Sinamore, a Finnish gothic metal band formed in 1998 in Hamina, was established by childhood friends Mikko Heikkilä (vocals, guitar), Jarno Uski (bass), and Miika Hostikka (drums). Their first demo, My Grace, was released in 2000 under Halflife Records, followed by Agony and She and the Devil. Sinamore later signed with a Japanese label but later resigned due to production issues. They gained recognition through their demos and appearances on various compilations, culminating in signing with Napalm Records for their debut album, A New Day, released in January 2006. This album led to a European tour. In 2007, Sinamore recorded their second album, Seven Sins a Second.
