The Slapstickers is a German ska band formed in Brühl in 1995. Initially performing under the name Skaracho, the group won the Toys2Masters band contest in 1998, which led to the release of their debut CD, Nine Cowboys From Outta Space: Ska Invasion (1998). Their subsequent discography includes the EP Waiting For The Summer (1999), the studio albums Skascraper (2001) and Taste It! (2003), the live album a-huii!! (2005), the studio album Rocket (2007), the CD/DVD release Sonic Island (2010), and the studio album Addicted to the road (2014). In 2015, they marked their 20-year anniversary by collaborating with the Kölner Big Band The Swingcredibles on the EP The Slapstickers feat. The Swingcredibles (2015), and they followed with the studio album Silverback (2024). The band toured extensively across Germany, opening for Madness and The Toasters, and performed alongside the Skatalites in 2005.
