Hal Donell Williams Jr., known professionally as Pyramid Vritra, was born on November 11, 1991, in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, and is an American rapper and record producer. He began his musical journey in Powder Springs, Georgia, forming the rap collective NRK (Nobody Really Knows) in 2008 and releasing their debut mixtape The Goodwill Tape. In 2010, he released his first solo project, Elouise, and collaborated with Matt Martians as The Jet Age of Tomorrow. Their debut album Voyager featured the instrumental track "The Knight Hawk", later sampled by Kendrick Lamar on "A.D.H.D". Throughout the early 2010s, he released several solo albums including Pyramid (2012), Indra (2014), and Palace (2014). He collaborated with various artists under labels such as Stones Throw Records. In 2020, Pyramid Vritra released two notable albums, such as FEMME (2019) and SONAR (2020).
