Top Buzz, a British breakbeat hardcore and jungle DJ/MC crew, was formed in 1988 in north London by MC Patrick Jarrett ("Mad P"), DJ Mikee B, and DJ Jason Kaye. The group released their debut single "Livin' In Darkness / Viola's Delight" on Basement Records in 1992. They were headline performers at major events such as Amnesia House and Fantazia. Notable releases include the EP Livin' In Darkness (Remixes) in 1993, and singles like "Vol. 1" and "Livin' In A Dream / The Wok". Mikee B later joined UK garage outfit Dreem Teem, while Kaye became a prominent DJ, producer, and promoter of UK garage. Top Buzz continued to perform until Kaye's death on March 11, 2023.
