Natsuki Tamura, born 田村夏樹 on July 26, 1951, in Ōtsu, Shiga Prefecture, Japan, is a Japanese jazz trumpeter and composer. During his school years, Tamura played in a brass band and later joined various ensembles such as the World Sharps Orchestra and Consolation. He appeared in several Japanese television shows between 1973 and 1982. In 1986, Tamura moved to the United States to study at Berklee College of Music in Boston. Upon returning to Japan, he taught at the Yamaha Music School and private trumpet studios. His discography includes albums such as Ko Ko Ko Ke (2004), Nax (2014), Keshin (2020), and Summer Tree (2022). Tamura has collaborated with notable artists including Masahiko Satō, the Rova Saxophone Quartet, and Larry Ochs.
