Common Ground is a Korean funk‑soul band founded by Kim Jung‑woo in late 2003 after his work with the two‑person project Earlbano. Kim Jung‑woo, vocalist and saxophonist, assembled trumpeter Seo Dae‑gwang (DK Slow), vocalist‑guitarist Jane Yang Jae‑in, drummer‑percussionist Jo Jae‑beom, and producer Baek Jung‑hyun. The group released its debut studio album Play.ers in 2004, followed by Old fashioned (2004), Fat girl (2005), and Dance Republica (2009). After the 2013 EP Shake It! and single "Christmas Carol", Common Ground became the house band and music director for tvN’s SNL Korea from 2014 to 2017, and again from September 2021 as part of Coupang Play. Recent singles such as "Welcome to Our Groove" (2025) and "We Don’t Stop!" (April 2026) continue to showcase the band’s funk‑soul blend. The single "We Don't Stop" entered Melon's Top 500 Melon domestic chart at rank 17 the same month.
