Pandit Sanjeev Abhyankar, born on October 5, 1969 in Pune, India, is a Hindustani classical music vocalist of the Mewati Gharana. He began his musical journey at age eight under the guidance of his mother Shobha Abhyankar and later trained with Pandit Gangadharbua Pimpalkhare and Pandit Jasraj. Abhyankar's first stage performance was in Mumbai at 11 years old. His career includes over 60 solo albums, notable releases such as Soaring Heights (1994) and Classical Vocal (1999), and performances across more than 200 cities worldwide. Abhyankar won the National Film Award for Best Male Playback Singer in 1998 for "Suno Re Bhaila" from the film Godmother, and the Kumar Gandharva National Award in 2008 for his contributions to classical arts. He also lent his vocals to films like Banaras (2005) and Coffee Ani Barach Kahi (2015).
