Ghost of the Robot is an American rock ensemble formed in April 2002 in Los Angeles. The group was established by lead vocalist and guitarist James Marsters and guitarist Charlie De Mars. Sullivan Marsters joined the band as a guitarist and backing vocalist at age 13. The ensemble released its first two studio recordings, Mad Brilliant and B-Sider, in 2003. After becoming inactive in 2005, the group resumed activity in October 2010. The band released the album Murphy's Law in 2013 and performed a European tour. Its discography included the recordings Bourgeois Faux Pas (2015), Pair of Bulls, Vol. 1 (2018), and Tin Man (2023). The ensemble released EPs such as David Letterman (2003) and It's Nothing (2004), the latter featuring the track “It's Nothing”. Keyboardist Steven Sellers died on February 21, 2009.
