Eduardo Tucci da Silva, known as Dudu Tucci, born May 5, 1955, in São Paulo, is a musician and percussionist. He grew up in a musical family and began drumming in Umbanda ceremonies during his youth. Tucci studied classical percussion, flute, and musicology at the Brooklin Paulista Conservatory in São Paulo. In 1982, he moved to Berlin after being invited to perform at the JazzFest. He gained recognition for his work with traditional Brazilian rhythms and collaborated with various artists, acting as a guest musician on Reinhard Flatischler's MegaDrums project world tour in 1987. Tucci released his debut album Oduduá (1990), followed by several others including Afoxé Loni (2002) and Dia de Paz (2021). He also co-authored the educational book Samba und Sambistas in Brasilien (1992) with Tiago de Oliveira Pinto.
