Taylor Josephine Stephanie Luciow, also known as Taylor Mitchell, born on August 27, 1990, in Toronto, Canada, was a country folk singer-songwriter. She adopted "Mitchell" as her stage name after graduating from the Etobicoke School of the Arts. In 2007, she released a four-track EP, marking her initial foray into music. Mitchell's debut album, For Your Consideration, was independently released in 2009. The album received positive reviews and included tracks such as "Don't Know How I Got Here" and "Clarity". In June 2009, she performed at the Winnipeg Folk Festival. Tragically, she passed away on October 27, 2009. Taylor Mitchell was fatally attacked by coyotes while hiking in Cape Breton Highlands National Park.
