St. Christopher is an English indie pop band from York that formed in 1984. The group is led by Glenn Melia, who has remained the only constant member throughout their prolific career. They achieved early notoriety for their work with Sarah Records, particularly with the single “All of a Tremble” (1989), which reached number 19 on the UK indie chart. Their discography includes the early singles “Crystal Clear” (1984) and “As Far as the Eye Can See” and the studio albums Bacharach (1990) and Man, I Could Scream (1992). The band has collaborated with numerous independent labels including Vinyl Japan, Elefant Records, and Parasol Records. Their career was later summarized in the compilation Lost at Sea – The Sarah Recordings (2007) and the anthology Forevermore Starts Here (2014).
