Empty Tremor is an Italian progressive metal ensemble from Mezzano established in 1993. The group consists of the musicians Christian Tombetti, Marco Guerrini, Dennis Randi, Giovanni De Luigi, Dario Ciccioni, and Marco Scott Gilardi. They achieved professional recognition for a musical style characterized by progressive metal. The ensemble was founded in 1993 under the name Noise Pollution by the musicians Stefano Ruzzi, Tombetti, Randi, Guerrini, and Davide De Paoli. They achieved professional recognition for performing cover versions of the ensemble Metallica, the ensemble Guns N' Roses, the ensemble Pink Floyd, and the ensemble Led Zeppelin. The musician Daniele Liverani joined as a keyboardist and the group transitioned to original material. The ensemble achieved professional recognition for assuming the name Empty Tremor in 1995.
