Barefoot Jerry was an American country and rock band formed in Nashville, Tennessee. Following its formation, the group swiftly released the album Southern Delight in 1971. The self‑titled followed in 1972, and the 1974 release Watchin' TV expanded the band’s catalog. In 1975, the album You Can't Get Off with Your Shoes On was released. Following Hartman's departure, Barry Chance and Steve Davis joined the band for Keys to the Country in 1976. After Davis and Dearmore left, Charlie McCoy and Mike McBride joined for Barefootin' in 1977. The band disbanded later that year. After disbanding, the band’s legacy continued with releases such as Live in 2007, and French Toast in 2016, preserving their contribution to American country music.
