Psykosonik was an American techno and industrial music band from Minneapolis, Minnesota, formed in 1992. The group consisted of Paul Sebastien, Theodore Beale, Daniel Lenz, and Michael Larson. They began recording electronic music at Sebastien's apartment studio and performing locally. Their breakthrough came with the song "Sex Me Up", securing a deal with Wax Trax! Records and TVT Records. Psykosonik released their debut album Psykosonik in 1993, followed by Unlearn (1995). Notable singles included "Silicon Jesus" (1993), "Welcome to My Mind" (1993), and "Unlearn" (1995). The band had four top 40 hit singles on the US Dance Club Songs chart. Their music was featured on the soundtrack of Mortal Kombat Annihilation (1997). Despite completing their third album, Spiritual Machine, in 1997, it remained unreleased due to label disputes, leading to the band's disbandment that same year.
