CatPeople are a Spanish group from the Vigo music scene, although based in Barcelona, whose sound has been described as post-punk and post-rock. Formed in 2002 as Isósceles and later Magic Noise, they later adopted the name CatPeople. In 2006, they released their debut album Reel#1, featuring songs such as "Mexican Life" and "Radio," which led to appearances at major Spanish festivals and international releases in Germany, Switzerland, Austria, the United States, Japan, and Australia. Their 2007 EP, Dummy Remix, featured remixes of earlier songs. They reached a peak with What's the Time Mr. Wolf? (2008), which included "In Silence" and "Sister." They followed it with the EP Reel &Wolf (2009) and Love Battle (2011).
