Rale Mićić, born on October 9, 1975 in Belgrade, Serbia, is a Serbian jazz guitarist and composer. In 1995, he moved to the United States after receiving a scholarship from the Berklee College of Music, where he studied with notable figures such as George Garzone, John Thomas, and Bob Brookmeyer. His mentor during this period was Mick Goodrick. Mićić's debut album, Bridges, released in 2003, blended jazz with Balkan music. His second album, Serbia (2006), featured jazz trumpeter Tom Harrell. In 2010, he initiated the "Guitar x2" series, a guitar duo project that included performances by prominent jazz guitarists such as Peter Bernstein and Gene Bertoncini. Mićić's notable albums include Night Music (2016) and Only Love Will Stay (2021). He co-led the album Inspired (2016), featuring John Abercrombie, Peter Bernstein, and Lage Lund.
