Peter Breinholt, born March 31, 1969 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, is an American recording artist who moved with his family to Salt Lake City at age ten. While a student at the University of Utah he recorded the cassette Songs About the Great Divide (1993) with friends Mike Ensign and Rex Griffiths. He followed with studio albums Heartland (1996) and Deep Summer (1999), then released Live September (2001), Noel (2002), All the Color Green (2006), and the compilation The Best of Peter Breinholt (2008). In March 2019, he delivered a TEDx talk in Provo titled “What Makes You Come Alive?”.
