Neon Rose, a Swedish hard rock band formed in 1970, originated from members Roger Holegård, Piero Mengarelli, Gunnar Hallin, and Benno Mengarelli. Initially known as Spider, they evolved into Neon Rose when Stanley Larsson joined on drums in 1973. The band signed with Vertigo Records in 1974 and released their debut album A Dream of Glory and Pride and their second album, Two. In 1975, Stanley Larsson left the group and was replaced by Thomas Wiklund. In the same year, the band released Reload and later disbanded. Piero Mengarelli attempted to reform the band with new members in 2015, but they officially disbanded in 2017.
