Krystyna Ferencowicz, better known by her stage name Bettina Antoni, was born in 1969 in Wałbrzych, Poland. She moved to Paris as a teenager and began her career as a model before being recruited by Stéphane Collaro as a coco-girl on the French television show Cocoricocoboy. She went on to dance on Italian television under the name "Marika," performed at the Crazy Horse Saloon from 1991 to 1995 as "Cristy Balalaika," and modeled for Pierre Cardin. In 1993, she co-hosted Salut les artistes on France 2 with Georges Beller, and in 1996 she appeared on Fort Boyard. In 2000, she became the singer of the dance group Froggy Mix, which performed the theme song for the anime series Cardcaptor Sakura. She toured Canada and Europe in 2003 and 2004 with the group's hit "No Nagging," which sold over a million CDs. In 2013, she returned under the Froggy Mix name with the single "C'est Party," featuring Snoop Dogg, followed by a French-language version and a second Froggy Mix album the following year. Alongside her music career, she has also worked as an actress, appearing in a handful of film productions.
