Tommy Cash, born April 5, 1940, in Dyess, Arkansas, was an American country music singer and the younger brother of Johnny Cash. Raised in a musical household, he began performing locally in his teens. In 1969, he released the single "Six White Horses", which paid tribute to John F. Kennedy, Robert F. Kennedy, and Martin Luther King Jr., becoming a major hit on the Billboard country charts. Over the following decades, Cash released studio albums and toured as a country performer. His later compilations include 26 Country Hits (2007) and The 25th Anniversary Album (2010). Cash died on September 13, 2024, at age 84.
