Kind Kaputt was a German post-hardcore band formed in 2016. The lineup consisted of vocalist Johannes Prautzsch, guitarist Konstantin Cajkin, and drummer Mathis Kerscher, with Fabian Willi Simon managing the visual concept. After touring with Kaffkönig in 2017, the group released the debut EP Die Meinung der Einzelnen in January 2018. That same year, the trio supported 8kids on the Denen die wir sind tour. Their debut album, Zerfall, arrived in March 2019 via Uncle M Music, followed by a thirteen-date headlining tour across Germany. In 2020, the band released the singles "Leichter" and "Gründe", followed by the 2021 singles "Bleiben", "Zeit", and "Wasser". The group released their second album, Morgen ist auch noch kein Tag, in October 2022, and followed with Ins Blau in 2026. Their music was frequently compared to the theatrical post-hardcore of groups like Marathonmann and Fjørt.
