Glitoris, a punk rock band from Canberra, Australia, formed in 2014, and gained attention for their provocative performances and political lyrics. Their debut EP The Disgrace was released in October 2016 after signing to Buttercup Records. In January 2017, Glitoris released "Trump Card" in protest against President Donald Trump. Notable singles include "Spit Hood" (2018) and "The Policy" (2018), the latter being the title track of their debut album The Policy released on November 2018. The band won Live Hard Rock Act of the Year at the National Live Music Awards in 2019 and in February 2020, they released "Slut Power" and performed socially distanced shows at The Basement in Canberra, leading to the release of The Slut Power Sessions: Live at The Basement (2020). Their second album, Glitoris, was released in July 2023.
