Corruption is a modern thrash metal band from Paris, France, built around sharp riffs, relentless grooves and a darker, more aggressive take on the genre. Drawing from the foundations of Metallica, Megadeth, Testament and Slayer while embracing the intensity of modern metal, Corruption blends old-school thrash DNA with a heavier and more contemporary sound.Their new EP, Ritual, pushes that vision further across four tracks: I Sever My Flesh, Ritual, It Ends in Fire and a completely reworked version of Agony.The record features once again extreme metal drummer Kevin Paradis (Benighted, Svart Crown) and for the first time Rich Gray (Annihilator) on bass.Formed in 2017 by brothers Max and JB, Corruption grew from a shared obsession with the thrash records they discovered while learning guitar in the ’90s. Today, the band keeps the focus where it has always been: riffs, energy and songs made to be played loud.
