Hi there :) We are a music duo that formed in Chicago and are now based in Brooklyn. We met during college in a music practice room after discovering a mutual love for The Strokes, but our music sounds nothing like The Strokes. We don’t limit ourselves to any single genre, so our catalog is a bit diverse, but here is a little guide:
For some indie pop songs, check out our most recent album “It Is Lighter Than You Think”, which is also available on vinyl through the record label we started called Extremely Pure.
For some raw shoegaze, dream pop, and noise pop, check out the song “Microwave S’mores” and also our first album “I Can Feel The Weight”.
For some electronic dance tracks that also combine our shoegaze influences, check out “There’s No Need” and “Roman Candle Part II”
Everything is written and recorded by us, Carrie and Matt.
We are currently working on our third album and are about to go into the woods of Pennsylvania to record it.
