The ADE

The Ade is a South Korean indie duo formed in Seoul by guitarist Kim Gyu‑yeon and vocalist An Da‑eun. After leaving their former agency in late 2016, they debuted on 2016‑10‑11 with the EP Reborn and released their first single, "The Light", in December. Subsequent singles-including "If I've Known" (2016), "Resemble" (2017), and "Winter Rain" (2018)-solidified their indie reputation. They issued the EP 0.5 in 2018 and full‑length albums Imagine and Love Theory in 2019, followed by For you in 2025. The duo contributed to several television soundtracks such as “Sweet Stranger and Me” (2016) and “Queen of Mystery” (2017), while they were active on the Korean club circuit. They released the single "오랜 별" in May 2023. Their single "Aching Memory" was released in April 2026 and entered Melon's Top 500 Melon domestic chart at rank 36 the same week.
