Karen Patricia Lovely, born November 23, 1959 in Massachusetts, United States, is an American electric blues singer and songwriter. She began her musical journey singing in a local church choir before relocating to London in 1987 for her first public performance. Returning to Los Angeles six months later, Lovely started her professional blues career in September 2007 and released her debut album Lucky Girl in November 2008. Her subsequent albums include Still the Rain (2010), Ten Miles of Bad Road (2015), and Fish Outta Water (2017). Notable collaborations on Ten Miles of Bad Road included Johnny Lee Schell, Alan Mirikitani, James "Hutch" Hutchinson, Jim Pugh, Tony Braunagel, and Kim Wilson. Lovely's band secured second place in the band category at the 2010 International Blues Challenge. She was nominated for Contemporary Blues Female Artist of the Year at the 2016 Blues Music Awards.
