Jay-J is an American house producer and disc jockey born as Joseph John Hernandez in 1969 in New Jersey. Hernandez achieved professional recognition for a musical career that began in 1995 and included more than 120 recordings. He achieved professional recognition for the studio Moulton Studios where he collaborated with the musicians Chris Lum, Mark Grant, Julius Papp, Marques Wyatt, Miguel Migs, Kaskade, and Halo. Hernandez achieved professional recognition for performing at the venues La Terraza, Ministry of Sound, Pacha, and Zouk and appearing at the 2006 MTV Australia Awards. Hernandez achieved professional recognition for the studio recording Connected (2005) and the studio recording Illuminate (2006). He achieved professional recognition for contributing to the WE8 project for Coca-Cola during the 2008 Summer Olympics. His discography included the studio recording Love Alive (2009) and the studio recording Electronic Discussions (2011). Hernandez achieved professional recognition for the remix of the song “He Loves Me” (2003) for the musician Jill Scott which received a Grammy Award nomination.
