Call Me Lightning is an American indie rock band from Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The group took its name from The Who's 1968 song "Call Me Lightning" and cited Minutemen as a significant influence. Their album, Revelation Records Presents a Few Ditties From, was released on Revelation Records in 2005. In 2007, they released their album, Soft Skeletons, recorded at Steve Albini's Electrical Audio studio in Chicago, which garnered notable press coverage, including a feature in Spin magazine. The band continued with the release of When I Am Gone My Blood Will Be Free on Dusty Medical Records in 2010 and Human Hell on 25 Diamonds in 2014. Their discography also includes the EP Get Rad / Call Me Lightning, released in 2008, and the single "Ghouls / Delicate Pimp" in 2002.
