Cable Ties is an Australian punk rock band from Melbourne. Formed in 2015, the trio consists of guitarist and lead vocalist Jenny McKechnie, bassist Nick Brown and drummer Shauna Boyle. The ensemble performed its earliest concerts at venues including The Tote Hotel and The Old Bar. In 2017, the group released its eponymous debut studio album, Cable Ties, through Poison City Records. The band signed with the label Merge Records and released its second album, Far Enough, in 2020. The record won Best Rock/Punk Album at the 2020 Music Victoria Awards. In 2022, the group issued the live album Live at the Scrap Museum. Their third studio album, All Her Plans, appeared in 2023. That same year, the band won Best Group and Best Rock/Punk Work at the Music Victoria Awards.
