Since 2002, internationally acclaimed South African artist Ike Moriz has built a prolific career as a singer, songwriter, producer, author and actor. With 20 albums to his name, his music moves effortlessly from melodic indie rock and pop to Latin, lounge, blues and jazzy swing, earning No. 1 chart positions in the UK, Holland, South Africa and Germany, alongside extensive global airplay.
Often dubbed “South Africa’s own indie pop idol”, Ike is a multilingual performer whose jet-setting upbringing led him to study music and acting in South Africa, Germany and Holland. He spent five formative years in London fronting rock bands, performing in musicals and running his own label, Mosquito Records London, before returning home in 2005. In 2006, he was voted one of South Africa’s Top Five Singers.
Beyond music, Ike has appeared in international films such as Love Actually, Alfie and Shanghai Knights, as well as major UK and South African TV productions. Rock icon David Bowie repeatedly selected Ike’s early work as “Top Song of the Month” on his official website.
In 2026, Ike launches his Artcore Tour, following the release of his latest single Artcore — a bold new chapter in an ever-evolving artistic journey.
