John Garrison, born on January 7, 1973 in Liverpool, England, is an English musician, singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and producer. After growing up in a musical family and refusing formal lessons, he co‑founded the British alternative rock band Budapest in 1999, performing with them until their disbandment in 2006. He launched a solo career in New York, releasing Above the Cosmos (2007) and Departures (2009), the latter named Britsound Radio’s “British album of the year.” After moving to Copenhagen, he started his Satellites project, releasing several albums. He played bass guitar on Lewis Capaldi’s 2022 Number 1 hit “Forget Me".
